Learn More About the All-New Hyundai Venue

SUVs have become so popular in Bel Air, MD, mostly thanks to their versatility. If you like what an SUV brings to the table but don't necessarily want to drive a large vehicle, you're in luck. The all-new Hyundai Venue might be exactly what you're looking for. It's ideal for anyone who wants to drive a compact vehicle but also prefers to have a good amount of cargo space. At Bel Air Hyundai, we're excited to showcase what the Venue offers.

Performance

We carry three trims of the Hyundai Venue. The SE is the base model, the SEL is the mid-level option, and the Denim has some unique stylings and sits at the top of the line-up. All Venue models are powered by the same 121-horsepower, four-cylinder engine. It'll give you plenty of power as you drive around town or head off on road trips.

What's great about the powertrain is that it's efficient. The Venue can earn up to 35 miles per gallon on the highway. The SEL and Denim both have a combined (city/highway) mileage of 32 miles per gallon, and the SE has a combined mileage of 30 miles per gallon.

Technology and Safety

We know that our customers usually have to look at the bottom line in terms of price when making decisions about new vehicles. For anyone who has a tight budget, we're happy to say that even the SE trim has several driver-assist features, an eight-inch touchscreen, and Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility.

Driver-assist features include Driver Attention Warning and Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist with Pedestrian Detection, and they can work together to give you peace of mind as you travel the roads in Baltimore, not exactly sure about what you'll come across. The SE also has automatic headlights, a 60/40 split bench in the second row that can be folded down to accommodate cargo, and Bluetooth compatibility.

Moving up one trim takes you to the SEL. It comes with an automatic temperature control system instead of a manual one, and having dual USB charging ports can really be key if there are multiple devices in the vehicle. A difference from the SE's infotainment system is that the SEL's system accepts certain voice commands. It has six speakers instead of four, an automatic-up driver's window, and the option to get heated front seats.

The Venue is a front-wheel-drive vehicle, and the SEL and Denim trims come with a Drive Mode Select feature. This lets drivers choose between Normal, Sport, and Snow modes to optimize traction and improve control.

If you like the idea of driving something a little more luxurious, consider the Denim, which is still competitively priced. Inside the cabin of the Denim, you'll find exclusive denim-colored leatherette/cloth seats that match the Denim exterior paint. This trim rides on 17-inch wheels that add to the overall style.

A major upgrade in the Denim is integrated navigation. Instead of using another device or special app to look up directions, you can use the navigation that's built right into the vehicle. Another enhancement is the addition of the rear cross-traffic collision warning system. It's quite helpful for when you're backing up out of parking spot onto a busy road, for example.

Interior

With its dimensions, the Venue is easy to park and maneuver. When it comes to carrying cargo, there are 18.7 cubic feet of space behind the second row. Fold those seats down to expand total cargo capacity to 31.9 cubic feet. Roof side rails, which are found on the SEL and Denim trims, can be convenient to have if you ever want to secure gear to the top of your SUV.
